Mares XR Butt Plate

The Mares XR Butt Plate is a semi rigid, semi padded plate that attaches to the rear of the XR harness.
The butt plate allows divers to attach side mounting tanks to their backplate.
Easily attaches with D snaps or can be permanently attached via the four holes along its top edge, which can be used as attachment points for the harness, with a crotch strap point on the rear.
Two 3167 marine grade stainless steel mounting bars on either side of the plate serve as the attachment point for side mounted tanks, or any number of diving accessories.
The stainless steel mounting bars can be repositioned as required, for example to have a single bar running along the bottom edge for canister placement.

Constructed with 1200D ballistic nylon• 4 holes along the bottom allow for the mounting of any harness as well as accessories• Provides the proper amount of rigidity to hold tanks in position and eliminate sag• Two stainless steel 316 marine grade handles used for tank attachment• To transform harness into a rig with sidemount tanks
