It’s relaxed, friendly, and all about good vibes, salty smiles, and safe diving.

Guided Shore dives are scheduled each Thursday, and Sunday

We’ll meet at the Dive Centre, then head to one of our favourite local shore diving spots. The exact site and time will be announced the day before, based on ocean conditions.

This is a guided dive and a community gathering for certified divers who want to:

✅ Get wet in good company
✅ Pair up with dive buddies
✅ Build confidence and local knowledge
✅ Share tips with other divers
✅ Explore sponge gardens, fish life, rays, cuttlefish, and more

Safety First, Always

To keep the dive smooth, safe, and enjoyable:

✅ You must be a certified diver with recent dive experience
✅ Bring your own gear or organise hire gear in advance
✅ Scuba tanks are included
✅ Register at least 24 hours before the dive so we can match buddies and manage the dive safely

After the dive, join us nearby for a coffee or snack. It’s the perfect chance to debrief, swap stories, and meet more local divers.

Central Coast Divers offer a single boat dive each week.

Scuba divers are natural explorers, and boat diving opens the door to some of the most spectacular underwater environments. Travelling by boat allows you and your dive buddy to access remote offshore reefs, dramatic walls, historic wrecks, and marine habitats that simply can't be reached from the shore.

An unguided boat dive gives qualified divers the freedom to explore at their own pace while enjoying the comfort and convenience of a professionally operated dive boat. With easy entry and exit, experienced crew support, and access to outstanding dive sites, you'll spend less time swimming on the surface and more time discovering what lies beneath.

You’ll board a fully equipped dive vessel and be briefed by an experienced diver, who has dived the sites personally, pointing out marine life and key features along the way. 

All logistics — from site selection to entry and exit — are handled for you, so you can simply relax, dive, and enjoy the adventure. Ideal for certified divers wanting to discover new locations.

Departs - 08:00 am and returns by 10am

1. Boat dives depart from Terrigal Haven boat ramp, next to the Fish cleaning table  
2. Rental equipment is available for hire.
3. Please arrange 48 hours prior to departure
4. Book online 24/7

6. Arrive 30 minutes prior to allow ample time for gear setup
7. Boat departs promptly on time

The Central Coast boasts a diverse range of dive sites, from kelp forests to rocky reefs, each with its own unique ecosystem and marine life.
As you descend the anchor line into the depths, you will encounter colourful kelp forests swaying with the current, curious blue Gropers, playful schools of yellowtail, with a stunning array of fish species, and if you look carefully in between the rocky nooks and crannies, you may very well find a vibrant Bleekers Blue Devil Fish whilst the majestic Grey Nurse sharks along with sleeping Wobbegong sharks and other reef fishes swim about gracefully.

But that's just the beginning of your underwater journey.

There are so many great shore dive sites around the NSW Central Coast and we know them all, intimately.

You can explore gutters filled with sessile life or small caves filled with fishlife.
One dive site "Terrigal Cave" is not actually a cave, it is a very long gutter with three massive rocks forming a roof section along the top.
Always a great dive, in the right conditions!

Swansea channel to the north is a great river dive with fantastic marine life and a bonus drift dive when the tide turns. You will find more fishlife in Swansea Channel, than in a hectare of ocean. Includes rental tank and weights.
