Conditions of Use

Central Coast Divers – Conditions of Use for Scuba Equipment Hire

By hiring or renting scuba diving equipment from Central Coast Divers, you agree to the following conditions of use:

  1. Equipment Inspection
You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to thoroughly inspect all equipment prior to use. If any item appears damaged, faulty, or unsuitable, you must notify Central Coast Divers staff immediately. Do not use the equipment until it has been assessed or replaced by our team.

  2. Personal Responsibility
You agree to use the hired equipment in a safe, responsible, and appropriate manner. You must be a certified diver or under the direct supervision of a certified professional. Misuse or negligent use of equipment is strictly prohibited.

  3. Care and Security
While in your possession, you are responsible for keeping the equipment secure, clean, and in good condition. Equipment must be protected from loss, theft, damage, or unnecessary exposure to harsh environments (e.g., dragging on sand, leaving in direct sunlight, or placing near sharp or hot objects).

  4. Return Condition
All equipment must be returned on time, rinsed, and in the same condition as received (reasonable wear and tear excepted). A cleaning or repair fee may be charged for equipment returned in an unsatisfactory state.

  5. Liability
Central Coast Divers is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from the use or misuse of hired equipment. You assume full responsibility for its use during the hire period.

  6. Replacement and Repair Costs
You agree to cover the cost of repair or replacement for any equipment that is lost, stolen, or damaged while under your care.

  7. Terms of Hire
Equipment hire is for the agreed duration only. Late returns may incur additional fees. Extensions must be approved in advance.

By accepting the hire, you confirm that you understand and agree to these terms.
