25XR WITH CR FULL TEK Sidemount Package combined with Mares PURE Light Sidemount Set
Mares has developed the 25XR CR underwater regulator to mainly meet the needs of divers using the twin tank system. Its compact size makes it usable also by extended range divers for assembling on a single tank.
The first stage immediately strikes any technical diver's eye, due to the presence of Lp and HP outputs positioned on one side only. Indeed, this model was created to have an assigned position; inside the kit, a first stage will be positioned on the right and the other on the left.
The hose exits are positioned so that they fall behind the diver during assembly. This feature makes it ideal for cave diving or in environments with limited passages.
This second stage boasts a very aggressive look, and uses the mesh grid system to optimize the inlet and outlet water flows.

Zero Gravity Sidemount System
In weightlessness, you are effortlessly floating, because all of the acceleration forces on you, add to zero! As much as I might love diving though, scuba diving has little in common with zero gravity.
After all, gravity doesn't just go away because you are underwater.
To achieve near "zero gravity", the most comparable feeling is floating in water- Because you feel so light, you can move about with the slightest amount of effort.

To increase the durability of this backmount set, Mares ihas replaced all the aluminium components of the first version with stainless steel. The stainless steel back plate allows for double tank strap configuration while the stainless steel D-rings and buckles increase strength and offer a unique look.
The XR-Rec Ice also includes two removable side weight pockets with D-rings. These optional pockets close with VELCRO® Brand closures and one pocket is extendable for storing accessories.
