Urgent Call to Action – Jobs Are Waiting

Right now, the scuba industry is facing a massive shortage of qualified instructors both here in Australia and overseas. Dive resorts, training facilities, liveaboards, and marine parks are actively hiring. In fact, many of our graduates land offers before they even finish the course.

If you’ve ever said, “One day I’ll become a dive instructor,” this is that day. The demand is real. The opportunity is now. And the ocean is calling.

You could spend the next five months stuck in a job you don’t love, or you could spend it underwater, building a new future. Your office could be the reef. Your coworkers could be sea turtles. Your students could be first-time divers whose lives you’re about to change.

Don’t wait. Enrolments are open now – and spaces are limited.

Mares Quad Air Computor

The Quad Air scuba dive computer has a clear display and allows you to view relevant dive data at a glance.

With the Mares Quad Air you can also read the tank pressure directly on the display, via a wireless connection.
The three-sector layout includes all the relevant data, including tank pressure. Extended battery life, user-replaceable.

All the information a diver requires is instant and readable at a glance, thanks to the clear display and giant data viewer.

User interface is divided into three segments:

• one for depth,
• one for time and decompression
• one for cylinder pressure.

For an even more intuitive reading of the data, Mares has increased the communicative effectiveness of the most important parameters by displaying them in bigger numbers, whilst the two secondary parameters are displayed in a way that takes up less space on the monitor.

Among the Quad Air's strengths are its low battery consumption (user-replaceable with standard commercial batteries), which offers up to 150 dives.

During a dive, the four buttons on the dial - those on the left have the same functions as those on the right - are mirrored so that it is always easy to operate the Quad Air regardless of which arm it is worn on.

The 'Runaway Deco Alarm' alerts the user when staying at the current depth will result in a significant increase in mandatory decompression stops; the 'Deco Dive Planner' adapts the surface interval input to your needs.

The multi-blend function, which tunes three different probes and mixtures in a single dive without looking at the gauge, completes Quad Air's customisations. To download the Quad Air logbook, which is prepared for future upgrades and extensions, there is the new Bluelink Pro, which, thanks to low energy Bluetooth technology and the different app, allows you to have all your dive info on your PC or other device.

Explore Further. Ride the Ocean. Discover Underwater Vehicles.

Underwater vehicles first gained prominence during the Second World War, when Allied forces discovered one following a failed sabotage attempt on shipping. Since then, these fascinating machines have evolved dramatically and are now used in scientific research, exploration, transport, and exciting recreational diving experiences.

Today, underwater scooters and propulsion vehicles allow divers to travel further, conserve energy, and experience dive sites in an entirely new way.

However, there is one important principle every diver must remember: we are visitors in the underwater world.
Operating underwater vehicles requires skill, awareness, and environmental responsibility to ensure marine life and fragile ecosystems remain protected.

The Underwater Vehicle Specialty Training at Central Coast Divers will teach you how to:

• Safely operate diver propulsion vehicles (DPVs)
• Plan dives using underwater vehicles
• Control speed, depth, and buoyancy while riding
• Navigate efficiently over larger areas
• Protect marine environments while using propulsion equipment

This exciting program allows you to expand your diving range, explore more of each dive site, and experience the underwater world in a completely new way.

Ready to take your diving further than ever before?
