See Clearly. Dive Safely. Enjoy Every Moment.

Are your dive gauges looking blurry?
Are your arms suddenly “not long enough”?
Struggling to read your dive computer underwater?

If you answered YES to any of the above, it’s time to upgrade your mask with corrective lenses fitted by Central Coast Divers.

Your dive mask creates an air pocket over your eyes, helping you focus underwater.
But just like on land, if your vision needs correction, you’ll notice it quickly — especially when reading gauges, computers, camera settings or checking your buddy.

Corrective lenses bring your underwater world back into crystal-clear focus, keeping your dives safer, easier and far more enjoyable.

Why You Need a Dual-Lens Mask

To fit corrective lenses, you need a dual-lens mask — a design with two separate lenses divided by the nose pocket.

Dual-lens masks allow you to:

  • Fit different corrections in each eye

  • Achieve near-perfect underwater clarity

  • Improve reading accuracy and visual comfort

  • Maximise enjoyment on every dive or snorkel

Types of Corrective Lenses

Negative Correction Lens (− Diopter)

For near-sighted divers who struggle to see distant objects clearly.
Perfect for divers with myopia.

Positive Correction Lens (+ Diopter)

For far-sighted divers who need help seeing items up close.
Ideal for tasks like reading gauges, computers, and camera controls.

Bifocal / Gauge Reader Correction Lens

For divers who only need help up close.
These lenses feature a small magnified segment at the bottom of the lens — ideal for:

  • Reading gauges

  • Adjusting camera settings

  • Checking dive computers

  • Tying knots or handling gear
A favourite among experienced divers wanting clarity without full-lens correction.

Corrective Lens vs Prescription Lens

You can buy a fully customised prescription mask, but:

  • They are expensive

  • They take weeks to produce

  • They must be individually manufactured

Corrective lenses, by comparison, are:

  • Fast

  • Affordable

  • Highly effective

  • Available in pre-made diopter steps (usually in 0.5 increments)

All you need is the Sphere (SPH) measurement from your optometrist.
This is the only number required to select your perfect underwater correction.

Fitting Your Corrective Lenses

Fitting is quick and easy.
At Central Coast Divers, we:

  2. Install quality tempered-glass corrective lenses

  3. Check alignment and seal for perfect clarity

  4. Ensure your mask fits comfortably with your new optics

You're ready to dive — with crystal-clear vision.
