TAKE CARE!
Open Cell wetsuits are prone to tearing if proper lubrication is not used when donning on the suit. The recommended lubrication to use is a water based personal lubricant or a specialised wetsuit lubricant.
Shampoos & conditioners will shorten the life of your suit if used.
Failing to properly lubricate your wetsuit will result in the failure and damage of your suit, any damage or internal tears are not covered under warranty.
NOTE: It's recommended to remove any jewellery, watches, and to trim any sharp finger/toenails before putting on the suit.
When washing the suit, no form of detergent or soap should be used as this will breakdown, stretch, and shorten lifespan of your suit which is not covered under warranty.
The diving industry recognises that there is a desire for decompression programs, that meet the needs of recreational divers, without requiring the rigours or training of extended range or technical diving.
The Decompression Diving program gives you the additional knowledge, skills and experience to dive beyond the decompression limit, using the features of your personal dive computer, your recreational Total Diving System plus a single-stage cylinder!
There is something exciting and mysterious about exploring deeper dive sites, whilst scuba diving. Sometimes, it is a mysterious wreck that attracts you below 18 metres, then again on deep wall dives, it could be a giant sea fan or barrel sponge.
Quite often tropical waters, clear and calm, can be very deceiving and you can find yourself quite deep, without realising it. Whatever your reason to scuba dive with confidence at depths down to 40 metres, you should take the Deep Diver Specialty course.
Delayed Surface Marker Buoy.
Delayed surface marker buoys are probably the most versatile option for divers.
The “delayed” part refers to the fact that this important tool can be put up, whilst still underwater during your dive, to get the attention of the boat crew and to let other boats in the area, know you are there, more than likely safely completing your safety stop.
This device makes the divers ultra visible to boats and is very useful for getting attention if lost at sea or when an accident happens.
An SMB is a Surface Marker Buoy, which is the same as an DSMB but it is deployed on the surface, in case divers drift away in a current.
You will also require a finger spool with line attached, in conjunction with your SMB.

Become a dry suit diver and you can dive comfortably all year, anywhere in the world.
"Diving dry" is the best way to extend your dive season, keeps you warmer underwater and allows you to explore cold water dive sites, with ease.
As the cooler winter season approaches, the cooler water arrives and the winter diving season takes off. In some areas, winter conditions are even better in the colder months.
A diving drysuit is a waterproof diving suit that works by sealing a layer of air between the diver and the water. The difference between drysuits and wetsuits is that a wetsuit will allow to enter, the divers body then heats that water up and as water is moved about the body, more body heat is required to warm the cooler water, whereas a diving drysuit is loose fitting and uses air instead of water to minimise heat loss, this helps to keep the wearer warmer.
Do you need a drysuit to dive in winter? Yes, you do!
Scuba diving drysuits are designed to keep the wearer dry, warm and comfortable when in the water by keeping the cooler water out.
Wearing a dry suit seals you off from the cooler water and keeps you more comfortable, even in the coldest of water.
Diving in a drysuit does require specialty training starting with your first training dive taking place in a pool, you learn how to don and doff your dry suit carefully with minimal assistance, then master buoyancy control using your drysuit and go over safety procedures. This is then followed by two open water dives in a local bay.
You will also learn which accompanying undergarments are right for you and the type of diving you will do.
Finally, you will also learn how to take care of your drysuit.
