This is a nine day program with a further two days for your practical assessment and evaluation with an Instructor Examiner. 
You will complete the Instructor Examination directly after the Instructor Training Course.  

Once you have passed the Instructor Exam and the Instructor Evaluation, you will be  certified as an Open Water Scuba Instructor. As a bonus- you will complete your first course with us at the earliest convenience.

The Professional Scuba Instructor Training program is intended to be a fun and challenging learning experience, that will present you with new skills and knowledge, that will increase your abilities as a Scuba Diving Professional Instructor.

This program provides candidates with the knowledge, concepts and training necessary to organize and conduct entry-level scuba training courses- You are expected to ask questions and to take an active role in the training process. 

Your basic dive skills and knowledge will be refined and tested as you develop into a capable scuba Instructor and professional dive leader.

Candidates will learn the SSI Teaching System and philosophy, and how to effectively teach and evaluate Open Water Diver students.

It will also prepare the candidate for their Instructor Evaluation. 
Candidates who complete this program and the Instructor Evaluation earn their Open Water Instructor certification. 

Prior to starting your Instructor training program, you will need to have completed the following:
Divemaster certification
75 logged dives
ITC Online materials
Dive Medical (valid within 12 months)
Current First Aid Certificate
Current Oxygen Provider certification
Be 18 years of age
