There are times when the ocean is calling, but a dive buddy isn’t available. The Independent Diver Specialty Course at Central Coast Divers provides the skills and knowledge required to safely and confidently plan and conduct dives without a designated dive partner.

This program teaches experienced divers how to become self-reliant, responsible, and highly prepared underwater, developing the awareness and redundancy required for safe solo-style diving.
